Attacking the elephant

Been thinking about “failure” this morning. What exactly is failure? Depends on your point of view. Failure could be a disaster to you. Ruin you. Make you feel unworthy of drawing breath.

But that’s not what God says…So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God. 1st Corinthians, chapter 4

Be very careful people. Failure is not the same thing as faithlessness, David failed when he acted on lust in his heart. Edison failed to produce a working light bulb hundreds of times. I have failed in areas of leadership before. David proved by faith that he was a man after God’s own heart. Edison proved hundreds of time that his design was flawed, but that he could perfect ONE design. I have proven that God can trust me not to give up when the arrows start flying.

Failure is simply this… another opportunity to STAND UP and PROVE… what are you waiting for?

Stand up. Overcome the fear.
